About me

Person-centered psychotherapist as well as marriage, family, and parent counselor according to §95 and lecturer.

During my studies in psychotherapy science, I worked in the radiology department of the Sanatorium Hera in Vienna and completed a nine-month internship in the biological-psychiatric intensive and acute care unit at the General Hospital of Vienna. I also completed an internship with Dr. Ernst Hruska, who was responsible for psychosomatic medicine. In my final theses, I focused on topics such as violence against Turkish migrant women as well as the person-centered perspective on breast cancer patients.

In my psychotherapeutic practice in Vienna, my focus is on accompanying younger and older people with traumatic experiences, acute crises – such as loss or in a palliative context – as well as anxiety and stress-related disorders.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy, self-exploration, and personal development

Every person carries within themselves the possibility to continue developing, to make independent decisions, and to consciously shape their own life. Sometimes, however, this ability is hidden, blocked, or weakened by external circumstances. In a supportive setting, this inner strength can be rediscovered – and with it, the trust in one’s own abilities. As a result, self-confidence grows, one becomes more open to change, and experiences relationships as more fulfilling.

My offer accompanies you on this path: through a respectful, personal encounter and a compassionate understanding of your individual life reality. Proven changes in feelings, body perception, and behavior demonstrate the effectiveness of this person-centered support.

The psychotherapy I apply is a scientifically based method that has been tried and tested for many years. It helps to unfold one’s own potential and to cope with psychological burdens. The treatment is not carried out intuitively, but on the basis of professional criteria that I have learned through extensive and long-standing training. I always consider the person within the context of their entire life – with their current circumstances, social environment, and societal conditions. The goal is not only to treat a single symptom, but to foster personal development in all its depth.

Individual, couple, and group therapy

In my practice, I offer psychotherapeutic support for individuals, couples, and groups based on the person-centered approach. At the center are appreciation, empathy, and a respectful space in which personal development and change become possible.
